Is the price fixed?
The price given is fixed.

How long will it take to build my loft?
Some lofts are larger than others, and some are more complex to convert then others. As a rough guide the structure could be completed within 4-8 weeks.

Will there be a lot of dust?
Most of the materials are taken in from the roof so dirt and dust will be minimal until we have to provide access to the new loft room.

Do I need planning permission?
In most cases, no. Unless you in a listed building or a conservation area. We always suggest you check with you local authority.

How long will it take before we can start work?
Before your loft conversion is carried out, our plans and sections need to be drawn, some may need planning which can take 6 - 8 weeks. We also need to make structural calculations, build the stairs, fabricate steel and inform the relavent authorities that we will be working on your loft
For us to get everything ready a rough estimate is approx 3-4 weeks.

Who supervises the work you are going to carry out in my property?
An independant building control company will check that everything we build complies with current building regulations. This is beneficial for you as you get your building regulations certificate. You can trust us to meet an approved standard.
Also your personal site manager will oversee the project from start to finish, ensuring the highest standards are met on your property.

Do I need to talk to my neighbour about my loft conversion?
If one of the walls of your house adjoin a neighbours property and we need to use it in your loft, we will need to comply with the Party Wall Act etc of 1996. We will send you a letter and ask you to take to your neighbour and ask them to sign it. Contact us if you would like us to provide you with more information about this.

What insurance do you have?
We carry full public and employers liability which is underwritten by one of the largest and best known insurers in the UK.

We have a "W" shaped modern trussed roof, can this be converted?
A trussed roof is different to a traditional purlin roof, but don't worry we can still convert this for you.

Can I change the plans once they have been drawn up?
Simply call our office and ask to speak to one of our opperation managers who will be able to advise you accordingly.
